These classes were created with the intention of nurturing mom through the postpartum stage with a more conscious approach to healing after birth.

Through yoga shapes and movement, breath and meditation, you will get the opportunity to safely rebuild strength & stamina, relieve physical & emotional tension, and restore your energy levels in an environment that promotes self-care.

Classes are best suited for women in the 4th trimester (6 weeks to 6 months postpartum).

No previous yoga experience necessary.

Babies in the pre-crawling stage are welcomed with the opportunity to be included, however, emphasis is placed on mom. If your babies are now mobile, see my Mom + Baby Yoga Classes

Please feel free to bring anything you need to help comfort your baby.

Come connect and support yourself and other moms in a community setting as we celebrate and experience motherhood.

This series will help to:

  • Create a new foundation for better wellness & health
  • Stabilize loose joints and ligaments (hormone relaxin is still present in the body)
  • Re-train & tone the abdominal wall and aid in closing separation
  • Strengthen the pelvic floor and prevent and treat dysfunction
  • Realign the spine and improve posture
  • Relieve physical tension in the neck, shoulders and back (due to nursing and carrying your baby)
  • Reduce fatigue and increase energy & vitality
  • Restore hormonal & emotional balance
  • Prevent/cope with baby blues and postpartum depression
  • Promote positive body image
  • Develop self-care practices
  • Celebrate motherhood
  • Build a community of motherhood support
  • Deepen the bond with your baby

CLASS SCHEDULE 

*April 1 2020 – April 22 2020

4 Wednesdays | 11am-12pm

Due to the effects of COVID 19 and the need for self isolation – these classes will be available on the free ZOOM APP  from the comfort of your own home.

The classes are live and interactive, but if you miss your class for any reason, you can be sent the recording to practice at a later time.

The cost of the classes also reflect the current circumstances – please contact me if the reduced rate is still not accessible for you.

Investment: sliding scale $20 – $50 for all 4 classes
